OFFENSE HOMICIDE_________________________SUSPECT

On 03-25-94, I contacted Jerry W. Parsons, in Gulfport, MS.

Mr. Parsons has been located as a result of Anthony Griffin making an accusation that Parsons was the real killer of Moten Wynn on 07-31-93.

Mr. Griffin was taken to Memphis by Mike Morgan, public defender’s investigator and Dep. Ray Boswell, CCSO.  Griffin took them to a house at 512 Mineral and said that’s where he let the blond haired guy out that had killed Wynn.

Investigation developed Jerry W. Parsons at the individual who was supposed to have been let out.

Mrs. Betty Parsons was contacted and she put me in touch with her son Jerry.  Jerry called me from Gulfport, MS. on Friday morning, 03-25-94.  Phone number is [omitted].

Jerry Parsons told me that he did remember hitching a ride from near Memphis during late May of 1993.  He said he gave the driver $5.00 for gas.

Parsons said he didn’t remember exactly what kind of car he rode in but said he did remember it was extremely dirty and had a bunch of old clothes in the back.

Jerry Parsons will be contacted about an address for a subpoena and Mrs. Parsons will be shown a photo line-up to see if she recognizes Griffin as someone she has seen around her house.
